Switching from OkiOki to Faktuno
Your Peppol number can only be registered with one provider at a time. To move from OkiOki to Faktuno, OkiOki must first release your number. Then Faktuno takes it over.
Before you start
- You have a Faktuno account, your payment method is confirmed (a €0.02 payment, refunded straight away) and our Peppol partner has checked your company’s identity. Only then can Faktuno take over your numbers.
- Download your invoices first and keep them yourself: you usually have to keep them for 10 years, see keeping invoices.
- OkiOki’s help centre (read in October 2026) does not describe steps for unregistering yourself. So this may work differently from what is described below; if in doubt, what OkiOki tells you applies.
- Best do the switch in the evening or at the weekend, because an invoice may be refused in the meantime.
How to do it
- Ask OkiOki to unregister your Peppol numbers. Ask via OkiOki’s help centre (support.okioki.be), and ask expressly for unregistering, not just for turning Peppol off. According to their help centre, OkiOki also unregisters you automatically if your subscription has been suspended for 14 days or more, and immediately when your trial expires. That is a slow route; better ask directly.
- Check in Faktuno under My company → Peppol connection where you receive now. Faktuno checks that in the Peppol network itself, so you always see the real situation.
- Faktuno takes over your numbers. It checks every hour whether your numbers are free, and straight away when you open My company. You get an email as soon as it’s done. If your numbers are still not there after a few hours, OkiOki may still be holding them: contact us.
According to OkiOki’s help page (October 2026) there is no migration key; you unregister and then register again.
What changes for your accountant?
Nothing. They get your invoices in their own software, once you turn on automatic sending in Faktuno.
