Receiving Peppol invoices: how it works
The obligation works both ways: you send invoices via Peppol, and your suppliers send theirs to you via Peppol too. For that, you must be reachable on the network.
How do you become reachable?
Your business must be registered on Peppol with its enterprise number. You can only receive through one service at a time. In Faktuno the registration is done for you as soon as your identity check is complete.
Where do those invoices end up?
In Faktuno, Peppol invoices you receive land in the same app as your own invoices. You see who sent them, the amount and the due date, and you can open and check them.
And your accountant?
On the 1st of each month Faktuno also sends your accountant all your purchase invoices. If your accountant uses their own accounting software, Faktuno can also send them to that software’s email address.
Still getting PDFs from suppliers?
If a Belgian supplier still emails you a PDF, ask whether they can send via Peppol. Your enterprise number is all they need to find you.
