Recurring invoices: the same invoice every month, without retyping
Do you send a client the same invoice every month, quarter or year, for example for a subscription, rent or a maintenance contract? Then you don’t need to make it again each time. This is called a recurring or repeating invoice.
What is a recurring invoice?
It is an invoice that comes back at a fixed rhythm, with the same client, the same description and usually the same amount. Each new invoice is still a normal invoice: it gets its own sequential number and its own date.
Why not just send it automatically?
Once an invoice has been sent, you can no longer change it, only correct it with a credit note. An amount that has changed, a price indexation or a client who has stopped: you want to see that before the invoice goes out.
How it works in Faktuno
On an invoice, choose Repeat this invoice and pick every month, quarter or year. Faktuno then makes a draft in time. You check it and send it, via Peppol or by email. Nothing is sent by itself.
Recurring invoices are included in every plan, Starter and Pro.
