Switching from Accountable to Faktuno
Your Peppol number can only be registered with one provider at a time. To move from Accountable to Faktuno, you first disconnect Peppol in Accountable. Then Faktuno takes the number over.
Before you start
- You have a Faktuno account, your payment method is confirmed (a €0.02 payment, refunded straight away) and our Peppol partner has checked your company’s identity. Only then can Faktuno take over your numbers.
- Invoices you received via Accountable are not moved automatically. Download them first and keep them yourself, see keeping invoices.
- Best do it in the evening or at the weekend, because an invoice may be refused in the meantime.
How to do it
- Disconnect Peppol in Accountable. According to Accountable’s help page (read in October 2026): open the Accountable app, go to Settings → Peppol, click the dustbin icon next to your Peppol setup and confirm. If you did not register your number via Accountable, you have to ask your current provider to unregister it.
- Check in Faktuno under My company → Peppol connection where you receive now. Faktuno checks that in the Peppol network itself, so you always see the real situation.
- Faktuno takes over your numbers. It checks every hour whether your numbers are free, and straight away when you open My company. You get an email as soon as it’s done. If your numbers are still not there after a few hours, Accountable may still be holding them: contact us.
According to Accountable’s help page (October 2026) there is no migration key; you disconnect and then register again.
What changes for your accountant?
Nothing. They get your invoices in their own software, once you turn on automatic sending in Faktuno.
